About Chanda

Chanda Lam, MA, LMFT earned her Bachelor's degree at the University of California, Berkeley in Psychology and her Master's degree in Clinical Psychology at Antioch University.

Chanda has over 15 years experience working with a wide range of social and emotional disorders. Chanda specializes in individual and couples therapy and although extensively trained psychodynamically, she customizes other modalities and relational approaches to suit the needs of her clients.Chanda  is  EMDR trained (1 & 2), and utilizes the Trauma Resiliency Model (TRM) providing relaxation techniques to reduce stress, improve focus and strengthen her clients coping skills.

Chanda received 3 years training at the Maple Counseling Center in Beverly Hills, where she provided individual psychodynamic therapy to adults and adolescents. Concurrently, Chanda provided counseling to adolescents at St. Monica's High School through Outreach Concern. Chanda also has worked with parents and toddlers through the organization ECPC (Early Childhood Parenting Center), providing dyadic work, and has received Level 1 Training for mindful parenting through the Center of Reflective Parenting.
